I think you need to do the trailers again because they don't have that much of the film in it and it is boring.

This series has simply been the best! Made my weekend every time! As a massive Doctor Who fan I highly recommend this to anyone who wants an innocent, feel good and laugh out loud viewing. In this universe any thing imaginable is possible. Steven Moffat done an spectacular job which will stay in a childhood and everyone's heart forever. By M Beasley

To be fair to Matt Smith, he did have a lot to live up to. His first series was OK, but this is just going down hill. I can't keep up with the episodes and the whole thing just seems as though it's aimed at a much younger audience. Apparantly itunes agrees because compared to Tennant and Eccelson (both £20.99) the price of this series is laughable!

They need to bring the old writers back. I know Moffatt did miracle Day but how bad are new series. Plus David is much better than Matt.

I've been a fan of Doctor Who for 34 years and I'm pleased to say that the 2011 season was one of the best ever to be televised. So many wonderful, shocking, brilliant twists and turns - blink and you'll miss the detail. The majority of the 2011 episodes easily stand up to repeated viewing, with the unconventionally structured 'A Good Man Goes To War' really being a jewel in Steven Moffat's crown. Other stand out episodes include the tremendous opener 'The Impossible Astronaut', Neil Gaiman's beautiful 'The Doctor's Wife', the hilarious rollercoaster of 'Let's Kill Hitler', the tearjerking 'The Girl Who Waited', the fan-pleasing 'The God Complex' and the deceptively subtle and comedic 'Closing Time' by Gareth Roberts. So many levels, so much intricacy and so many clever and funny lines. Absolutely marvellous.

Only recently did I brave the "new" Doctor Whos starting with David Tennant (no thanks Eccles), for fear of betraying Tom Baker (King of all Doctors). BUT, starting from series 2 with Tennant and companions the show just got better and better. I was extremely put off by the thought of Matt Smith, BUT, again as I actually watched Series 5 I realised that he brings some of the Baker-esque flare back into the role, but with a darker edge, which is a refreshing angle to follow on from Tennant, and now I have started series 6 it just keeps growing on me more and more as the villans just get better, the plots are well thought out and well written. I am an old school, hard to please fan and Matt Smith has been awesome, Amy is a great companion and personality wise a clever grounding aspect to this Doctor. My sole critique is that Rory is and always will be as useful as a chocolate teapot :)
