Been a fan and watcher of Doctor Who since the 70’s. Whilst there has always been the occasional poor episode this just adds insult. Poorly written, poorly performed, atrocious story telling and acting from start to finish. Doctor Who has been hijacked by a political, woke agenda. Time to pull the plug.

Out of the loop as I from British society, not of any importance shall I say deprecatively speaking, like any of us trying to survive this consciousness especially during COVID-19; and as a firm human as anyone else right, it’s strange when you come back to things you used to enjoy and follow as a teenager, such as Dr Who, and all programmes that have been in our culture all our lives, you think to yourself, “Where have you been all these years?” But who is saying that? Me or you the BBC and programmes? It’s about 21 years I’ve not seen proper TV programmes, especially the BBC, albeit me a Darlek inwardly or a Ginnel that wonders alone on streets. Previously a touring drummer, that had done the same things, you encapsulate yourself as your own prisoner and ego, which is so sad, emotionally draining, yet enjoyable to your psycho-madness as people pass you by with empathy or anger to join you as an imposter. The self importance and Id or ego, I don’t know about the Freud way is that you do being to see the horrid monster inwardly, but you contain so it doesn’t overload; almost lost it 2 days ago in public, but you hold on with little faith, and these actors knew that; really powerful how they were working together for the reality of existence and people innocent always no matter how big or small it is (forgiveness to yourself and then others - key element.) What I saw on this series was quite special. Especially I afar from people and reality, ironically that we are respecting the 2 metre distance from the PM, oh dear. it’s been hard to be the normal guy from the streets of Rendlesham Rd E5 to a touring guy and now homeless in England. Evolution is great but it’s as similar to a tide/current taking you away from the Lighthouse, that palpitation of I might not see you again hits the heart. So it’s good to stay close to the shore especially when you can see your family miles away in the deep. This was a nice program. I think I should be talking more about the individual characters in this series than my trivial importance of existence. To engage in English culture via Apple TV, is still a faith that we are all still engaging together. If only I can say a good morning to a random person like it was back in the day, that’d be cool; rather than wonder will the person give back a hostile gesture? I don’t know, but I feel there’s a change, only if you think it is. The scare is people are entitled to whatever they think is necessary (Malcolm X). The lense could probably explain? I’m sure they understand. No showing of wow and who and this and that. Just plain simple... Thank you BBC and Dr Who for an experience; and God Save The Queen. 4/03/2021.

Do not bother with this absolute trash. A perfect example of how to spoil a long-lived franchise. No thanks.

This did its job perfectly, a sequel to last years news year special, and a finale to s12. Those fans who dont like our current Dr, fine, just dont watch, you dont need to be nasty, come back when the next one comes along, you wont be constantly disappointed then. This was a great 70 odd minutes of escapism, which is what I personally needed and enjoyed.
  • Fun & exciting, solid action adventure.

A fun action adventure, a slick looking production and great performances from the cast - including one happy reunion, one tense reunion and some sad farewells. If you like sci-fi and want to be entertained, I recommend this.

The vast majority (if not all) of the people who rated this one star are sexist and/or racist. Doctor Who has always had political overtones. Literally think about the Cybermen for more than one second. Here I’ll give you a hint - every Cyberman looks the same and is equal. If you didn’t notice either you need to start looking closer at the content you consume or you willingly overlooked them. Doctor Who has always had some bad writing/effects (not saying this episode is an example of either but some people are). It just never seemed to bother anyone when the main actor was a white guy.
  • One of Jodie's best yet

I've been thoroughly enjoying the Thirteenth Doctor's era and this episode was no exception - in fact, it's one of my favourite outings of hers so far. There's a few plot points I would have liked to have seen explored further, but the brilliant character interactions more than make up for that.
  • Not good enough.

This is a half hearted special. They are known for being cheesy at Xmas/New Year. This was just off. Jodie’s acting capabilities have been and are wasted in this episode. Scenes felt incomplete and most certainly rushed. This may have been better if they had extended scenes allowing for plot development and maybe to have had a Xmas day and New Year special. Making it a two part story. Don’t buy, you will only wish you didn’t. It just wasn’t good enough.
