From the thrilling ‘Spyfall’ to the intriguing ‘Timeless Children’, I have to say this series was exactly what I wanted. Fun, scary, dramatic and full of twists. Chibnall continues to prove he knows the classic monsters inside and out with O and Ashad being terrific reinventions of classic baddies. And the scene at the lighthouse in Episode 5? Jaw dropping. While still not perfect, dialogue and crowed TARDIS still seem to be an issue, this series was still highly enjoyable!

Doctor who has become a boring political mess. It has forgotten the true meaning of doctor who, it’s an adventure in time and space. Unfortunately the show runner cares more about the message than the story, and it’s hurting the show.

Clunky scripts, preachy politics, appalling acting and atrocious production values. It’s like it’s 1987 all over again. Absolutely terrible version of Doctor Who - the production team should be ashamed. They have the best, most flexible TV show format in the world and this is the best they can manage. They finish the season by tearing apart 57 years of established lore in the name of political posturing. Chibnall and Whittaker have killed Who. Save yourself some cash and time, buy some Dulex emulsion apply it to a wall and watch for three hours.

I’ve loved this series. Ignore the vitriol, this season has been epic! Returning faces and threats, with superb acting from Jodie Whittaker making her into my favourite Doctor yet! Now for the long wait until the special! I can’t wait! Would greatly recommend a watch of this series, it really did overtake all my expectations! Loved it!
  • 50 years of history down the drain

I’ve loved Doctor Who for years. Unfortunately, these past two seasons have completely destroyed the shows legacy. I was very optimistic for the new doctor, but poor writing undermined Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor as well as her companions. The end of season 12 creates a heap of plot holes by retconning over 50 years of canon. The writers clearly do not care about the shows rich history and it’s loyal fan base.

Let me be clear I have been a whovian since before I can remember. Everything you’re about to read is from someone passionate about the show. First 2 questions: 1) who is watching this and thinking this deserves 5 stars, are you watching the same show as me? Are you getting payed by the star? 2) why would you pay for this rubbish your license fee is already being wasted on it The writing is not good if I wanted clunk political messages I would find someone on YouTube. I want to be entertained. Watching this each week I am not entertained I’m being preached at if I wanted to not be entertained and preached at I’d start going back to church. Jodie is not a good doctor, in fact Jo Martin plays a version of the doctor in one episode this season she has like 30 minutes of screen time and she does a better job that Jodie. The companions seem miserable the whole time for no reason (although I feel miserable watching my favourite show being murdered in a ditch, they have to live it so I can sympathise I guess). If it keeps going like this the show will be cancelled and it with the fault of the awful writing and acting. Chris Chibnall and Jodie Whittaker are responsible for the inevitable cancellation of the show. The need replacing now before it’s too late. Save you money buy season 1-10 don’t by 11 onwards

The female Doctor is not the problem! But she is not being given the scripts to allow us to see the depth of the character. It's like a cartoon. And I just don't care about any of the companions - are they robots, because the acting is certainly wooden to the point of a forest? I'm sick of episodes that are environmental warnings! We've got Greta for that!
