Description

David Tennant embarks on his last ever adventure as the Tenth Doctor in this two-part special. When the Master is reborn on Christmas Eve the Doctor must once again do battle with his psychotic nemesis. Their conflict takes them to the mysterious Immortality Gate where the Ood warn of an even greater danger approaching, as a terrible shadow falls across the entire Universe. Ancient forces are at work and the Doctor must beware the deadly prophecy that warns 'he will knock four times'.     Fantastic. Even 3 years after this was released it is still one of the best episodes to have ever been made, the best being the day of the doctor, but this is a close second. It was great to see David back for the day of the doctor but this was possibly one of the best performances he has ever given. Well done. Perfection.

    I was very disappointed in this episode I wish David tennant letfted the show with a better episode and it has the WORST character ever in it! MINNIE HOOPER! She's probably more scarier then the monsters thinking she's gonna come and pinch your bum but the episode I did not enjoy!

    So David Tennant has left, just as long as he gets a great farewell & a brilliant final adventure, this will be one of the best & saddest farewells ever, does he get it, no! This story feels like a rushed & strangely uninvolving adventure that drags out the very emotional departure of David Tennant for about half an hour at the end until it's just not sad anymore, plus the inclusion of the time lords is a kick in the face to the Tennant era, & it's also the end to the Master, one of the most evil enemies in the history of Doctor Who, & his final plan is stupid, but we will all miss David Tennant.
