A good Doctor Who story set in the future. The Doctor (Jon Pertwee) and Jo (Katy Manning) are sent on a mission, by the Time Lords, to deliver a special package - the main problem is that they don't exactly know who the package is for. It has a good plot: an evil meglamaniac, a mad scientist, monsters and a companion who is first kidnapped then stumbles from one dangerous situation to another - in fact, everything that makes a good Dr Who story. Okay, the special effects aren't that special now, but back in the 70's they were probably considered decent. Its underlying message was ahead of it's time: environmental change due to pollution, the affect thoughtless mining operations can have on the local species etc..., and perhaps the message of not judging a book by it's cover. An exciting story that should appeal to Doctor Who fans of all ages.
