Description

With the disappearance of a Federation colony, the Enterprise warp speeds to action to uncover if the reason was political or something much more sinister. Along their travels, the crew must escort a scientist who may hold the key to a malfunction that places the crew in danger. Prime Directives are broken as Picard is taken for a god on a primitive world. The Romulans continue to notice Federation intrusion into the Neutral Zone and threatens war against the Enterprise. Things become much more complex as an old enemy stops by and Picard must decide if he should offer solace or choose to remain enemies as a precaution. All leading up to finally answering the motives of Starfleet and the Federation as the Enterprise continues on its mission to explore the galaxy.

The new TNG

Season three gets another make over. New opening titles and new uniforms for the regulars. The set lighting is improved so the show does not look as dark as it used to. And the stories come together better making this the best TNG season (although the sixth also vies for the best season title). Highlights include Yesterday’s Enterprise bringing Tasha Yar back (and Denise Crosby’s terrible acting!), the Enterprise C and the first alternative timeline story since the original series Mirror Mirror. There is also The Survivors, Who Watches The Watchers, The Enemy, The Defector, and The Hunted as great first half of the season highlights. The second half has Sins of The Father, Tin Man, Sarek and Transfigurations all great in their own ways. The final episode being The Best of Both Worlds is often cited as TNG’s finest moment… enjoy!

Old tv show which is free on TV . £45 ??? Come on, that's crazy. That's £310 for all 7series. It should be between £15 - £30 a series at most and all 7 series should be bundled just like many other series on iTunes

I've only watched one episode (Yesterday's Enterprise) and I just have a query - in series 2 Dr Crusher had left - why is she returning now? What happened to that other doctor?

Finally iTunes have series 3 available to download! You truly get the Best of Both Worlds with this, a great show that you can watch on any of your devices! This is by far the BEST series of Star Trek: TNG. What’s good about it: Dr Crusher returns! Hurrah! Tasha Yar makes a return for 1 episode! Hurrah! New Uniforms! Hurrah! Even better special effects! AND some of the best story lines of the entire series, including the Survivors, Who Watches the Watchers, the Enemy, the High Ground, Yesterday’s Enterprise, Allegiance, Hollow Pursuits, the Most Toys, Menage a Troi, Transfigurations, AND the award winning The Best of Both Worlds part 1: which has one of the greatest cliff hangers ever seen on TV. What’s bad about it? It still has the annoying Wesley Crusher. It’s a bit pricey. If you love Star Trek: TNG, then you shouldn’t need to be persuaded to buy this, and in HD too! It can’t get better than this.
