I really do not see the point of this movie. I am normally a lover of chick flicks but found this film predictable and boring. And also just could not get over the fact that this "comedy" is based on two parents dying and leaving an orphan behind. Just did not find it funny at all.

But nothing special. The story is stupid, but there are a few good lines in it.

  • A run-of-the-mill romcom SPOILER!

As far as a sweet and fairly predictable romcom goes this isn't bad, but it just seems to fall some way short of its promise. There are a few moments to make you raise a smile, mostly when the couple are coming to grips with parenting, but I thought Katherine Heigl's chemistry was better with Gerard Butler and frankly, who in their right mind would ever choose Josh Duhamel over the southern twang of Josh Lucas - as a paediatrician. Is the woman supposed to be crazy?!
