  • Awful film

Keeps the kids distracted for a while, but the acting is wooden, the set-pieces obvious, the story non-existent and doesn't make sense. The effects are incredibly well done though - but most , if not all of the budget was spent on effects and the actors fees, nothing on the script, story or direction. It's not as good as the first one, and that was just about OK.
  • Not quite up to standard

The storyline was superb however the effects and animation of certain creatures were quite poor. The Minotaur looked like it was from a 1950's horror film and Kronos did not meet the standard the kraken set in the last film, also the statues the gods turned into could of used a bit more detail. And the variety of monsters used was quite low as there was only 3 of the less spectacular monsters (the minotaur, the chimera which was hardly an accurate depiction as the chimera only had 1 head and a goat body also the chimera had a lion head not a rhino head and 3 Cyclopes) Otherwise it was good

What's with all the negative's!!! This film is the follow-up to Louis Letterier's Clash of the Titans in 2010. Wrath of the Titans sees Perseus played by Sam Worthington being called upon for another quest to rescue his father from Hades are Ares and then after defeat the Titan Kronos. This film in my opinion is better than Clash of the Titans. I think that this film has a better story , though I didn't have many problems with Clash of the Titans' story and neither this one. This film has a more exciting story with more action and Perseus needs to navigate through a trecherous maze in order to get to the underworld. Also the visuals and action are very good. There are flaws. Firstly not all of the acting is very good. Sam Worthington is himself again portaging a very unconvincing performance, also Ralph Fiennes plays Hades very wierd because his voice sounds like he's got a sore throaght!! Overall that's it it's a pretty solid film better than Clash of the Titans
  • Not Worth It

Story line lacked complexity, I felt it could've been thought through better considering the odd beginning. Clash of the Titans was better and this is not up there with others such as Troy.

Growing up with the original I was pleased that they were remaking it and then this sequel came along!- it's boring and the script is lame!

A tedious, dull bore with a mashed-up plot and appalling acting.

If I could I wouldn't rate at all not worth the money should have waited
  • Good... but doesn't live up to its potential

Unless I'm mistaken, I'm pretty sure some of the gods were actually roman gods and not greek gods like they are portrayed in this film. It is a good enjoyable film but felt something was missing to make it into a great film like it had the potential to be.

I remember watching this, thinking how bad it was. At the end of the film in the massive fight I recall something rattled behind me in the cinema and when I turned around briefly the film somehow concluded :/
