  • Really, really enjoyable and fun. How it should be.

This was such a fun and enjoyable and relaxing film to watch. No, it’s not gonna win any oscars. No, it isn’t perfect. But it’s just what I was searching for after a long day at work. Downsides... the camera can get a little close to the action sometimes and Shredders armour/look won’t be to everyone’s taste and a step too far. The films story can also be seen as predictable (but that didn’t bother me as it’s a chill film) Pros... The choreography of the fight scenes is great. Each punch and kick feels real and has impact. The moves they do and the way they dispatch the bad guys are great to watch. The CGI is brilliant. The voice work is fantastic and each one feels different (like you expect). Lots of humour spread throughout (especially from Will Arnett who had my laughing out loud very often and is a legend), lots of action, nice and easy to follow story and just great fun! Enjoy people! Don’t look too deeply into it and you should enjoy this one :-)

The 80's tv show had better acting and was more realistic. A big disappointment and definitely the worst instalment in the franchise yet.

I have a pet turtle and so this film was particularly appealing to me. Although my pet turtle is not actually a ninja which has now caused me to spiral into an uncontrollable depression because it won't do ninja activities. I have to see a therapist 4 times a week. I tried to put a ninja headband on my turtle and gave it some swords but it just isn't working. Im gonna take him to karate lessons soon. If this doesn't work Im probably gonna jump off a really tall building. Other than the above reasons the film was totally amazing and awesome and I would watch it 50 times if I could but I have other things to do like see a therapist for the above mentioned reasons. PS my favourite one is the one with the blue headband. Blue is my favourite colour. It reminds me of the ocean, and the ocean is where my turtle is from. I hope to one day take him to visit his family so he can rediscover his culture and sophistication. Fin, noggin, DUDE. In case you didnt know thats a finding memo reference. Thanks for reading. I love you all.

Nope. Some nice action sequences. Some poor acting. The original characters were lost completely. Had to try to watch it in chunks just to get to the end of it. Was more interested in EVERYTHING else in the room. Cowabunghole! :(

I remember the first tmnt movie when I was a kid which I have a soft spot for. I also liked the original cartoon series that preceded it. I was therefore worried that this film would disappoint me as the transformers movies of late never seemed to capture the original animated movie's characters. This movie is awesome - the turtles come across as having personality and seem like they're really there rather than superimposed on the scene. I preferred the original Michelangelo character to the new one who just comes across as sleazy and for me April O'Neil should have red or auburn hair but otherwise fantastic film and very entertaining.
  • Thanks Michael Bay...

Thanks Michael Bay for ruining another childhood memory. I'm old enough to remember the Teenage Mutant Ninja (Hero) Turtles when they erupted onto childrents TV, those action figures... I grew up with these along with many other kids TV shows. And when some bonehead director decides to reeboot it! What the fudge guy! STOP IT! Quit re-making, re-hashing and re-booting all the cool stuff and just re-do the crap stuff. Leave my childhood alone. This film is so poor I raged for quite a long time about it. And what gives with all the Transormers sound effects! Megan Fox? Probably the worst actress around, the only reason she's in the film is her personality... wait, no. Thants not it....
  • Worth a watch!

If you're a fan of the turtles it's worth a watch! CGI is great there are some decent cast as well but they could have made it much better! Shredder wearing a transformer suit is one of the things they could av done without!!!!
