is a good film but is were the series starts to go downhill this is were the series starts to get more comical than horror is worth buying though

This film isn't the best freddy film, all they really do is talk a couple of deaths, the most disgusting deaths you'll ever see, and there is a huge fight at the end between alice and freddy, the best part is where the shower fills up and she almost dies: 4 star.

Why do itunes only have one of the series and why can i only rent it, put the rest of the them up. EDIT. iTunes have put some of them up to buy so thanks, 1 and 3 are the best ones not this 1.

Ok I've seen all of the series and this is one of the weakest. Part 4 was aweful and part 6 is the worst film ever, period. Number 7 is almost as good as number one but nothing can beat the sheer iconicness of the first installment. But about the film. Well in a nutshell, it's stupid. Totally unscary and I felt nothing for all the 1 dimensional charectors. So why rate it two stars and not one? Well, I appreciate it's kind of original storyline. Kind of. And still beats number six which is just insulting to all the filmakers and fans who could have used a better idea/story for a sequal. But seriously iTunes, put on the first 3 and number 7. I would say only get this if you've seen it and had a stroke then liked it. Otherwise don't waste your money.

I agree when are we going to see all 8 movies on I-Tunes and when are we going to be able to buy them. Im a massive fan of the whole Nightmare On Elm Street films and can't wait to be able to buy them for my I-Pod regardless of how weak some are as we get past 4. Where's Wes Craven's New Nightmare and Freddy Vs Jason, classics. With the remake due to hit cinemas l thought we'd have them all on by now. Iv checked out the U.S version and ok they haven't got them all but at least you can buy 1 and 8 which is more can be said for this sorry excuse. Come On!
