  • Great film ruined by the film quality

I was hoping to watch this film again and was a good price, but the quality of the film is poor for HD. It was barely SD quality and it should have been advertised as such to avoid purchasing.

This was just a great movie and had all the marks of an enjoyable evening of escapism in front of the TV. All the cast including Antonio were amazing and the film had a well thought out story that kept us on the edge of our seats, it was just a shame they ran out of money at the end of the production because the big Viking leader deserved a heroic send off and placed on a long ship set on fire like his ancestors instead we get a hurried farewell which leaves you wanting more. Don't let that diminish your viewing pleasure because its a film that is well worth seeing again and again.

Dating from that mythical age of rip roaring action adventure films.this is a brilliant example of why Antonio Banderas shouldnt have sold his soul to kids movies. This is an awesome film with a brilliant storyline, fantastic acting and an equally good soundtrack. Always find myself reaching for this film whenever I'm gripped by boredom. Well worth the price :)

A brilliant, bright gem of film, often overlooked. The story is tight, the acting superb and the fights are great. Antonio plays the eponymous hero of the title, the 13th Warrior, he's the stranger in a foreign land, who takes up with a band of likable Viking warriors & goes head to head with an 'ancient evil'. The Vikings set up shop in a village which is under siege from said evil and much carnage ensues. I won't spoil the ancient evil bit, but it's very well done and factually accurate for the times. The big blonde Viking is also a brilliant hero.

This has to be antonios best film, and in my humble opinion one of the best films made for some time. A good, easy to follow, storyline. Plenty of action. One you will never tire of watching, time and time again.
