Stargate Universe, Season 2

Sad that the show was cancelled at the end of is second season as it was really shaping up to be something truly special! Character driven, yet firmly entrenched deep enough in the pre-existing stargate mythology, this will appeal to both newcomers and pre-existing fans of the show. Much darker than the original SG series, but still has moments of that classic black SG humour.

as the title.... the show that killed atlantis and subsequently killed 13 yrs of stargate! like marmite u luv it or hate it! ps bought all 15 seasons and films and additional video releases! and now we get a stargate reboot ... or dear! finish what you had for atlantis!!!

Great stuff on season 2 never feeling rushed well thought out. A crying shame the series was canned there are a lot worse things on TV going for longer.

What a brilliant show start to finish, can't believe they axed it so short, I am a stargate fan and this was whole new different level, will only hope a movie follows etc, come on you writers and producers give us what we want

This was a good series however i can't belive that they are still wanting £43.99 for this. Itunes need to sort there lives out

Great series pity they only made two seasons The last episode uses my math for Ftl taken from the now closed stargate MMo Forum guess they do read them LoL

I simple Love it !!! I just can't believe it that they stop make new episodes :-((( the serial is the best!! I would say the Universe is even better ,why?! .. Coz is more and more realistic ( the people, story)

This seems to have taken the concept of BSG and removed the humour, compelling storylines and characters. I was bored approximately a third of the way through the series for a couple of reasons. Firstly the character with questionable motives was uncovered in the first episode. Secondly each episode follows the same tedious routine; there is a looming disaster and a time limit in which it must be fixed, cue some tagged on dilemma and a ticking clock in the background. When in every episode the entire crew are in imminent danger of death this trick loses its punch, and you start to care less and less whether thay actually survive until the end of the 45 minutes.

I am not a stargate fan apart from the origional film but this series grabbed me from the start of S1. I love it, it is nothing like the other offspin programs made and is truly an original! I love it's dark side, their is nothing 'pretty' about it. The network cannot leave us hanging, they have to tie up these story lines in a 3rd series for the sake of all it's fans, leaving it like this is saddening. Please please please make a 3rd series???

Just ashame they cancelled a potentially brilliant show!!! Fools!
