Battlestar Galactica (Reboot): The Plan

Series box set £20 done deal but was it! Missing film razor beginning season 4! And the plan an additional 12£ so entire box set is £44 but wait no razor! = no buy!!!

Way overpriced for one episode. This needs looking at

A rehash of old clips, randomly thrown together that I had to turn off after half an hour. You wouldn't bother sitting though this refuse even if it was bonus material in the boxed set. A very, very sad end to a great series. Can be bought new for significantly less on Blu-ray.

BUT,,,, COME ON ITUNES, WHAT ARE YOU CHARGING 12 QUID FOR ???? You can get this on Ebay now for 6 quid with the box etc .... stop ripping people off !!!!

The Cylons may have had a plan, but not the writers of this series. The Plan is simply dreadful. It must have been written and produced to extract more money from fans, a not unimportant consideration given the declining ratings of the series. Remember the saying, "some things are best left unsaid"? Well, this is evidence that some shows are best left unmade.

I could justify that price if this was being offered in High Definition, but definitely not SD. It's cheaper to go out and buy the Blu-Ray instead. So much for Steve Job's vision of replacing Blu-Ray with HD content from iTunes! If this is a Universal issue - get them around the table and hammer out a deal. If it's just an Apple issue - get with the program and back up what's been said about BR/iTunes.

I watched this the other night on Sky One. i was hoping it would be better then the other one 'Razor' which incidentally was rubbish. But unfortunately it was about 80% footage we'd already seen in the show, they just added crap before and after some events. while watching the Final FIve. How disappointing, to see both Razor and The Plan. Why is that a lot of American TV shows feel the need to explain everything. The TV show was great. It got a little odd and lost its way a bit, but i loved that show. This is just bad DO NOT WATCH it just isn't worth it.

'The Plan' is an interesting footnote to Battlestar Galactica for fans of that series but if you're new to BSG, watching this feature first would probably not compel you check out the rest of the series because it would make little sense to a newcomer and it acts as a spoiler. If you have seen the complete series then it's worth watching this as a bit of a curiosity. Yes, it may not delve deep enough or have a plot that stands up its own merit but in the abscence of a new series it's better than nothing and it gives plenty of screen time to Dean Stockwell which is no bad thing.
