Description

The show is exceptional, with a combination of good stand alone episodes and the season story arc. Good ideas, though somewhat more action based than the movies which dug deeper into the meaning of humanity in a cyborg era. One thing of note though: The HD version is NOT remastered HD quality, rather upscaled SD. To even call it HD is probably a lie though the upscale is better quality than what would be achieved at home.

My favourite anime by a long mile, great action and some of the best philosophical tv I have ever seen, if you can get past the tachicoma's voices, Japanese comic relief doesn't transfer that well.

this is one of the best series i have ever seen on television, the combination of movie references, philosophy, information warfare and excellent animation makes for some fantatsic television. even if your mildy intersted in manga or like programmes such as the wire or 24 i implore you to get this.

I bought this on DVD! All of the epidoes and iv'e watched them over and over again! they are the most elegant but on the other hand most terroizing scenes in most of the manga iv'e seen over the last few years!!! Anyone out there who lovees a bit of brain itching mysterys, adventure, film packed of fighting or just to enjoy the futuristict world of japan (cyborgs, robots, machines, cities) WILL SURELY LOVE THIS FILM!!! EVERYONE BUT IT, COZ I HAV AND WILL BUY IT ON itunes soon coz it hasnt been on here 4 eva!!!!........ P.S. If there are any other fans out there. They producer/directer/graphis designers are thinking and maybe r doing a 3D version with virtuale people in it!!! SOUNDS GREAT, BUT will probally about a 2 years before it comes out coz of the technical side of it plus it might be Japenese... hehe Love Cookiedarkfang
