Babylon 5, Season 4

I’ve read various articles as to why B5 hasn’t yet been upgraded into a remastered HD quality. I understand the costly, logistical constraints however Warner Bros has money enough to upscale the live action scenes from the original film negatives and remaster other scenes that incorporated digital enhancements or effects. I love this show but Warner has to spend the money to attract new viewers and satisfy the fan base that would spend the money instantly on a genuine remastering. The actors in this show did a phenomenal job in bringing their characters to life and it’s ageing very well considering everything else that’s out there to watch these days. Come on Warner, please remaster this series.

This was the best season of show. The climatic end to shaddow war at start if show. The ongoing fight to retake earth. The only let down i felt was the poor story of Garabaldi being a sleeper agent for Psi Corp and the last episode of series whch was only produced to replace real finale after show was granted another season. Was disappointed to see them write our Susan Ivonova due to Claudia Christian not wanting to return for 5th series after contract negociation failed. She would have been a excellent replacement as Captain of station. I was glued to TV watching this series over one full day as couldnt stop as wanted know what happened next. Again untill the full show is available i shall not buy. Come onnitunes put the three tv movies up that we are waiting for

Would buy this definitely as it’s a great tv show but no not for that price because it’s not even HD too

Having missed B5 when it originally aired but having friends who loved it I decided that watching the series box sets was definitely something I wanted to do. Having watched through to the half way point in series 4 the epic storyline is excellent, though the series is a little rushed due to the question over whether series 5 would be commissioned or not. Unfortunately, the reproduction of series 4 is extremely dark, making the programme hard to watch without adjusting your TV before and setting it back to normal levels afterwards. This is a real shame and spoils my enjoyment of the show. I'll finish the series, but it has sapped my enjoyment somewhat so I'm not sure if I'll pick up series 5 or not.
