Description

Season 3 punches in with Jim Halpert's unexpected transfer to the Stamford office, but will it punch out with the closing of the Scranton branch? With his unorthodox management style, ever-impulsive Michael Scott (Golden Globe winner Steve Carell) continues to wreak havoc for the staff and hapless temp Ryan Howard (B.J. Novak). Little does Michael know, his unwanted protégé Dwight Shrute (Rainn Wilson) is planning a coup. Also in the works: Unexpected wedding bells chime and we finally get to visit the Shrute family beet farm business. Meanwhile, will Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) find a new love? What of Pam Beesly (Jenna Fischer)? And in a sudden turn of events, Michael is forced to make a last ditch effort to save the company.

    I love it - particularly the way it develops. Sorry to admit it, but I prefer it to the UK series, which was too crude for my liking. It would be great if there was a lower 'view-it-once' fee. I don't have the space or the interest to hold onto these after viewing them and would purchase far more from iTunes if it was say 50 pence an episode to watch once. Where are the other series? I see they are available on Torrent sites, so why not to access legitimately?

    I must admit I was sceptical when I first watched the American Office. Gervais and Merchant created a little bit of genius with the English version, but now I cannot get enough of this. It really is brilliant from the script to the casting it is faultless. If you enjoyed the English version and can get through the first 1-2 epidodes of the the 1st series (mostly material taken from the original) you will really enjoy this.

    This is a great show but yes seasaon one is kind of slow, but once, one get to understand how the show works get better. I was wounding when season 4-5 will be up?

    Now in its own right this mayb quite gud. But it shouldnt be compared to the comedy genius of Ricky Gervais. His verison of the office is the type of comedy which majority of americans can not pull off! And they should leave the idea of copying it! i know this review isnt very helpful, but if ur looking for an american verison of the office i dont recommend it; espescially not at this price!

    Once I watched a few of these and got used to the American versions of the characters, I have loved it ever since. The first season is ok, but from season 2 onwards, it keeps getting better and better. Finally, this season has been released in HD, along with a very reasonable price tag for the HD version. This means that all 3 seasons are now in HD, and are great value as far as I am concerned. But when are we going to get season 4? (to be fair, it's not on DVD in the UK yet either) I hate being so far behind the US.
