Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Complete Series

This is a great tv show. When this came out it was £60 per season and that was on VHS. Now people complain that it’s 50 or 60 for all 7 seasons!

I rewatch all of this every other year. Still loved every time. Very few series that I would rewatch.

This is, indeed, the notorious 2014 re-mastered version with terrible cropping done so badly that crew members are seen in the shot. But far worse is the actual quality of the rips. They are not even up to what I would call SD in that, if I rip my own original DVDs, the quality is higher as is the actual pixel count by about 50% (so it is compressed and downsized even from DVD quality). It's so bad that I asked iTunes to totally remove from my purchases (I didn't even want a refund) but they declined so I've just hidden the complete 7 series so that I can't see them and be reminded of the abysmal quality. They would probably be acceptable to watch on an old phone with low-res screen but that's about it I'm afraid. Even so, the rubbush cropping would still be evident. Avoid at all costs!

Now that iTunes has fixed the price I feel a better review is required. I loved the show from very start. But hated the introduction of The sister Dawn. I pray they abandon the remake and decide to do TV movies of this and angel featuring the original cast

Sorry too expensive

Well done on getting the price right(ish) however you have totally messed up the average star rating for this amazing show.

Related - individual seasons £4.99 I am no maths expert but 7 x £4.99 is £34.93 Buying the whole set should be cheaper then the sum of its parts surly. I might have missed the boat but I don’t see this being value for money. iTunes does annoy me when they offer box sets at a price, but they still charge you full price even when you own one or two from that collection, they used to adjust prices accordingly. iTunes seems messed up these days #scamthenonsavvy

Shame no hd but price now better

£49.99 for seven series is great. Shame about SD and some camera issues due to the format but still the best programme. So much heart. For the negative reviews - see that they are based on price not the show. Clearly a mistake was made. £272.16 / 144 episodes = £1.89 per episode. Just a mistake by not putting box set price. Annoying but don’t let the reviews put you off. It’s clearly sorted now. I always told people who have watched an episode here or there to give it time to reach a flow and they end up loving the show. Series 1 is quite dated but more one off episodes than overarching story. Still worth watching as it all ties in. Love it! Loses one star just for camera issues and SD.

£49.99 is a reasonble price for 7 seasons of quality TV - it's currently £62.49 on the Google Play store. Remember folks - the ditributor sets the price, not iTunes!
