How much we've moved on, or not

This film is simply stunning. It brings vividly to life the terrible treatment of one section of American society. Separate drinking fountains, seating areas for whites and blacks. I thought it really showed how much we have moved on since then, however looking around, Hurricane Katrina etc I am beginning to wonder if we have really moved that far from the racist attitudes shown in this film. Buy it, you simply can't go wrong. The performances of all involved are sensational.
A classic story about racism

Mississippi Burning is a film based on a true story about the murder of two Civil Rights' workers and one black man in 1964. It shows the true extent of racism in Southern States of American - in particular Mississippi. A classic movie and one I'd recommend.
