This film is more than a music and dance film I love this compared to the new version because of its realness and the gritty scenes I.e the hot lunch scene all the students dancing and singing in the crowded cafeteria it didn't look to polished. And of course can't forget Irene Cara's remarkable voice good old witty Bruno Martelli andGene Anthony Ray's flawless dancing

Don't expect a grain of glee from this dingy movie .. Please avoid . Watch the original tv series which was a chucklefest in comparison . Gene Anthony Ray v'shalom.

You should definitely buy this movie, it's got great songs, drama, laughs and even the odd awkward moment; but, this all comes to a very abrupt end, it just finishes. I felt like it needed another half hour to finish it properly! However, this is not an even qualifiable set back- it is still must see film.

Enjoyable bit of nostalgia, however too many four-letter words for a 'PG' film

As the title suggestes I cant put into words my thoughts for this film. I dont no why I waited 29 years to watch this film! The soundtrack is amazing too. This film might by 29 years old, and yes you can tell from the quality of the picture, but the performances and production are as good as if it were made today. Well worth it, and well worth being at 99p, thank you iTunes.
