A Great Film

Unfortunately considering the cast and director, this film is awful. The plot is confusing, the characters unconvincing and the acting in parts is dis-jointed. Treat yourself to something a little less style over content!!

I was not expecting action, I am very content to let a story unfold but when nothing, and I mean nothing happens, or is explained or understood in the first hour of a film, you have to question what it is about, very disappointing considering the director et al. I respect the other comments that it is a 'slow burner' but for me it wasted my time.

Avoid, Slow and slightly unpleasant. There are much better films to spend your money and time on

Amazing chemistry of writer (Cormac MacCarthy), director (Ridley Scott), and cast (see list) had me intrigued. So high expectation was to see something that was fleshed out and exciting. Sorry to say not so. Audience won't understand motives that drive the action. Terrible example of a genre that these actors normally get right. And to know right from wrong. I loved all the characters, but the script let the director down. Felt stupid by the end.

Don’t be sucked in by the cast and Ridley as I was, this film is awful. A seemingly almost series of random dialogues with characters dropping out of nowhere. The synopsis hints at a great plot, but the film really doesn’t deliver anything.

1 diminutional characters and a pointless, flat and unmoving story line. Its pointlessness more or less put me into a coma like state for the duration! Absolutely nothing good about this at all.

AWFUL! Despite the star studded caste, this film was dreadful. We gave up after 15 minutes

Waste of 2 hours. The trailer is the best edit of a film I have ever seen. All the action in 1 minute and I mean all the action. Avoid this film.

How could this be a such a bad film with a cast like this. I sit here a week later and still have no clue what the film was about. It rubbish. Don't waste your time or money on this sorry excuse for a movie.
