Great flick - please upgrade to 4k with the others itunes!

I’m confused, why are Star Trek & Star Trek Beyond updated to 4K and this one not if you already have a HD purchase, even though there is a 4K version available to rent separately? Sort it out Apple...

How is this available to rent in 4K if you purchased it in HD it’s not in 4K like the other two what’s going on this seems very odd.

Ignore the complaints; this film is great; JJ was taking a risk using Khan as a villain and it paid off in my opinion as he continues the alternate universe. I was initially apprehensive about the film but I was proved wrong.

Great movie

The original in this series showed great promise, even if it was flawed (Scotty as a comic book character). This was much worse. Good action scenes, poor concept. We don’t watch these films for just a laugh. They have to mean more e.g. the dignity and good values of the characters. This was not tha. Please end this particular part of what has become just a franchise for money making. Could Kenneth Branagh revive it?

I can’t agree with the effusive reviews for this film. Kids will no doubt love it but I found it to be too safe and formulaic with hollow and unbelievable characters who over-dramatised a formulaic plot full of cliche and which required far too much suspension of belief. It is completely bereft of the deeper morality plots that made the original Star Trek important and fails to entertain in anything but the most superficial manner. In spite of the many explosive special effects even Roddenbury’s mum would be disappointed at how simple things have turned out.

Wow, this is SUCH an awesome film. Epic, great action and all round brilliant. Oh, hi fellow Star Wars nerds - looking forward to episode 7!
