Description

Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman play retired, down-on-their-luck outlaws who pick up their guns one last time to collect a bounty offered by the vengeful prostitutes of the remote Wyoming town of Big Whiskey. Richard Harris is an ill-fated interloper, a colorful killer-for-hire called English Bob, and Best Supporting Actor Oscar winner Gene Hackman is the sly and brutal local sheriff whose brand of law enforcement ranges from unconventional to ruthless.

    Same problem as others a couple of minutes of a corrupted up picture. Disappointing that a company as big as Apple isn’t big enough to put write such a simple problem. Fortunately the film is too good to let the picture problem ruin enjoying it.

    A classic film, but there is interference between 14.12 and 16.24. Either a Distributor issue or AppleTV/iTunes system issue. The interference is present on all devices; appletv 4k, iPad Pro and iPhone 11 Pro.

    What’s going on with the film around 14 minutes. Crazy lines going across the screen!!! Apart from that great film. Classic. Please fix Apple!! Not good.

    An absolutely excellent film and great to see Clint back in the saddle. But the iTunes version has a blocky “interference” pattern across the picture, from 14:14 to 16:30. It affects both the HD and 4K versions. So only 1 star, because Warner Bros or Apple clearly haven’t bothered to check it before selling it!

    This is close if not the best western ever made, well acted not over the top when it comes to gun play and a fantastic story line with a final shoot out that not even High Noon or Gun Fight at the OK Corral comes close to matching for tension
