  • Great Movie!

This is one of the best batman films of all time next to lego batman and the dark knight films. It can be campy and corny at times, but the ret-con’s get cast aside by the great cast, music and writing. A must see for any batman fan or superfan.
  • Blu-ray to iTunes 4K upgrade

Film 5 stars. I’m sure those who have bought this movie from tape to dvd to blu-ray, have enjoyed the great improvement in picture quality to match the upgrade in our TV’s and Blu-ray players The last blu-ray of this film was a great improvement and this iTunes 4K presentation is cheap enough to upgrade for the improved Atmos sound and to have on the go with any portable device. But there is no great picture improvement compared to the blu-ray on this 4K iTunes film, in fact in some scenes the blu-ray has a more natural picture . But stand alone the picture quality is better than good here and you won’t be disappointed, if you have the blu-ray already, you will be. A note for those of you who are thinking about the 007 4K upgrades from Blu-ray. It’s the same experience.

This new 4K transfer is superb, the amount of detail in the sets and costumes is fantastic. Inky blacks and bold colours. The Dolby atmos mix makes the soundtrack really come alive. Several scenes make great use of the added speakers to create a big soundstage. Recommended.

I never realized this film ever existed, but I am quite happy I watched it. A much different version to the campy Adem West Batman, but not quite as gruesome as the Dark Knight Trilogy. Overall, love the casting and Tim Burton’s take on it. :)

First two with Michael Keaton were awesome. Three and four sucked. But if you pay this on iTunes you are a moron. Go to HMV and get for a fraction on Blu Ray. Then £20 on conversion software. Simple.

To me this was, and will be forever the Batman. Don't care what everybody says. Yes, I do love the Nolan movies too but this film came out when I was 8 and quite frankly, changed my life. I absolutely fell in love with Batman and he is my favorite super hero ever since. Michael Keaton channels the darkness and pain within the character. JAck Nicholson, well he is the Joker! The direction and art direction are not only beautiful but the comic book literally comes to life. If you haven't seen this you must! But keep your mind open and just go with it! Be a kid again! Meet Batman!
