The Lovely Bones

Have never read the book so didn’t know what to expect beyond the description, but found this a really tedious slog of a movie. I totally lost interest in it and could barely stay focused on it. Each to their own, but I really don’t get what people are in it.

I desperately wanted to reach though my tv and attack the villain of this movie as Stanley tucci’s performance was so good . This movie is very sad but also very good , make sure you show it to your kids so they never go off with strangers !

I began watching this with an open mind after having checked various reviews. I was determined to enjoy it as I am a movie lover. This film started off fine until after the murder, when it loses direction amid CGI scenes and flashbacks, and I found myself losing all interest in the proceedings. It isn't a bad experience, just drawn out and boring. I was so looking forward to it, but came away disappointed. Avoid.

This is a beautiful master piece. There are all those movies and every now and then one comes up that is beautiful, original and brilliant. Saoirse Ronan is an outstanding child actress and never disappoints, she plays the part very well in this.

All the hate was for the overuse of CGI but who actually cares? Nobody watched it for that. Great movie

One of the best films I have had the pleasure of watching. Was so touching and the only film that has ever made me cry. Truly an amazing motion picture.

One of the best films I've ever seen! I still cry every time I watch it from beginning to end. Sends across loads of messages and you feel as if you're in there with the characters. It's absolutely amazing with great special effects. Keeps you on the edge of your seat and definatley worth buying. Just like the book it's breath-taking :D

Amazing film, really captures what horrible things can happen to people in real life - very touching.

This is probably the best film I have ever seen I loved every minute of it.
