It's hard to believe that Paul Thomas Anderson was 29 when he made this film. It's absolutely flawless and despite being 3 hours long I wouldn't leave out a minute of it.

Watched this movie long time ago... And didn't watch anything better before, or yet!!!! Definitely my favourite movie so far. Juliane Moore is amazing.

I am sorely disappointed! Whoever wrote the synopsis must have watched a completely different film. No comparison to Crash.

This film is one of the most under-rated movies of all time. Epic performances from every member of the star studded cast. Everyone should watch this film at least once in your life. A beautiful blend of the darker side of life and hope for the future. If pushed to answer the almost impossible question: "what's your favourite film?" then Magnolia is the film I respond with. If a movie can get Tom Cruise and Oscar nomination then it has to be good (of course he didn't win, he's been playing the same part for years, but this time it fits more than perfectly). Utterly moving and deserved a best picture award. If I could give it 6 stars I would.

This always sits comfortably in my top 10 movies of all time. It is an absolutely mesmerising movie and probably the best ensemble movie ever.
