Yet another Oscar nominated film that turns out to be no more than average.
How this got nominated for Best Film is beyond me.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad film & I’ve seen many films that are a lot worse but it leaves you thinking “something’s going to happen soon” but that “something” never seems to materialise.
It’s well acted, the storyline is (mainly good) & has some good music in it (circa 1973) but it just leaves you feeling “oh, was that it”?
