What a wonderful opportunity for camp comedy! But hopeless acting and even worse 'singing' coupled with the curse of taking itself too seriously made this truly lamentable. Ideal perhaps for a terminally introverted teenager who has yet to enjoy a real film. Try 'Seven Brides for Seven Brothers' and get a life.

I'm a bloke in my 20s and really enjoyed this I downloaded it on accident thinking it was something else but really did enjoy it I don't know why there are some bad reviews it's brill

I found this film about a fortnight ago and absolutely fell in love with it!! It is very unique and different and amazing!! If there are any other people out there who don't listen to mainstream and prefer things that are tastefull and songs and films that some people may consider weird and rubbish, this may be a film for you!! I suggest watching the trailer first though, and if you like the look of the trailer, you will probably love the film itself. Some reviewers are saying this is rubbish and that Sweeney Todd is so much better, but I have been completely obsessed with Sweeney Todd for over a year now and I actually found this film when somebody had done a fan made video of Sweeney Todd and a repo song! If you loved Sweeney Todd, this film might become another of your complete favourites :)

this film is a cult film only very few of us get just how good it is. Sure some parts are seriously corny and some charaters cant sing as well as others but thats what makes this film so endearing and so uterly memorable to thouse of us that love it with a passion. For thouse of you that thin this film is rubbish all i can say is its your loss. Sarah Brigthman awsome as allways, Alexa Vaga briliant heroin, paris hilton wow i didnt even know she had that in her lol, anthony awsome and graves as can i say swoon

This film has definately made it into my top 5 movies. It's campy gorey & hilarious, I think i've watched it at least 100 times now! It's VERY rocky horror-esque, but with a lot more catchy music that'll definately play in your head on a loop for a while. My personal favourite characters would have to be Pavi, Luigi, & Blind Mag, but every character is really interesting & wacky. I understand it might not be everyone's thing, but if you love Rocky Horror & musicals & dark humour & sexyness, you'll love Repo! The Genetic Opera! I think some people take it too seriously, which isn't really the intendment of the movie. You'll have to get the soundtrack too!

This film is unlike any other ive seen in a while. Similar to rocky horror in that it is something completely unique. If your sick and tried of the overload of the comerical films and love a musical, well opera you should definatly watch. And also what more would you need from a movie than Sarah Brightman and Paris Hilton in one song (who is actually really good in the role.)

Brilliant film, shame it isn't more popular.

If you like rocky horror or that musical episode of buffy, rent this now. Don't take it too seriously. Some of the acting is a bit wooden. But some great songs, some great gore and who wouldn't want to see Paris Hiltons face fall off? Get some popcorn and enjoy.
