Fast paced, lots of (slightly silly) action but I did like the London setting. And the character of the sword-wielding English royal is very cool. Donnie Yen also stars and when he does fight, it is pretty neat. There is an amusing out-take at the end where he whacks Jackie Chan on the head with a stick. Clive Owen plays his usual character.
Good for some light entertainment, and for 99p I was pleased with my rental. From a martial arts point of view, there is almost nothing but the final scenes make up for it a bit. For someone who has not seen the first one called Shanghai Noon I think, I wouldn't worry about it, you will get the gist of the first film in about three scenes and it has virtually no impact on this film.
And lets be honest - if you are reading the reviews for the 99p films you will probably rent one anyway, even though most of them have terrible reviews ;)

Great film, packed with laughs, but it would be better if you could buy the film. Make it happen Apple.
