Return of the Pink Panther

This is the best Pink Panther film, it's just laugh out loud funny throughout. Please iTunes make this available to buy in HD. You really should have this movie to own as part of your collection.

Peter Sellers is the ONLY Inspector Clouseau. Steve Martin and his half-baked attempt at mimicking the originals is nothing other than a total insult. Sellers excells as the bumbling French detective with some of the funniest scenes I have ever seen in a film. Of all the 'Panther' films, Return is by far the best and deserves a place in anyone's movie collection as one of the funniest movies ever made. Thanks Blake! Update: When I wrote this review back in 2009, I purchased the film via iTunes. Back then it was for my iPhone (pre-retina display) so the fact it was in SD format wasn't an issue. When I returned to the iTunes Store to see if there was an HD version, as I now have Apple TV, I was shocked to see that the purchase option is no longer available! The problem, however, is not one of Apple's making since the distribution rights have changed. Let's hope this gets sorted as Return should be part of everyones movie collection.

This by far the best film ever made! Period. I need this film on my iPod permanently!!! Renting is not good enough ITunes get it sorted soon otherwise "you shall receeva a boomp to the head you know."

The best and funniest panther film ever made.."does your dawg bite"..but I don't want to rent it...I need to own this...sort it out iTunes you kneaw..they used to call you the pavlova of the parralels...LET US BUY THIS!!!!!!! Mr low key

Pure cinematic comedy best! This is by far pure class courtesy of Sellers amazing acting. Hard for anyone even Steve Martin to beat, in fact Martin is no where near Sellers.

Sorry Steve, but there can only ever be and will only ever will be one Clouseau and it's Peter Sellers and this film demonstrates totally why. This review can't be written without using the Clouseau accent which has to be used, so just accept it's one of the best films ever, buy it and expect to start laughing [ but don't expect to stop any time soon while watching it.]
