Description

Welcome to the deadliest game you'll ever play. Colm Feore (Paycheck) and Matt Lanter (Heroes) wage war against state-of-the-art defense technology in this riveting, pulse-pounding sequel to the thrilling WarGames. When Will Farmer (Lanter) hacks into a restricted network of online gaming known only as R.I.P.L.E.Y., he stumbles onto a national defense system designed to ferret out fledgling terrorist cells and becomes Ripley's next target. His identity compromised, his family and friends jeopardized and his hometown in the cross hairs of an automated military response, Will's only hope to clear his name lies in beating Ripley at her own game. But when the game escalates to the next level, it becomes a race against time to stop Ripley from unleashing Armageddon.

Unbelievable on every level - the script was bad, the acting was bad and the plot was awful. Go and watch the original '80s movie, not this garbage.
  • Deeply Disappointed...

The script was a mess - holes, inconsistencies, jumping leaps. I honestly did not enjoy this film, at times I couldn't even follow it. This in comparission to the 1980's version which I watched just before this one - I LOVED it (go rent it, now! Matthew Broderick is a legend, and Ally Sheedy? Wow). The leads had no chemistry, although either one on their own was fine. I feel like I wasted 2 good hours of my life and £7 of my money for nothing! Which is really sad - this could have been a great film, it's predocessor certainly is (even though the technology in it is pretty 'foreign' it's still easy and fun to follow).

was expecting it to be rubbish, actually was entertaining, decent film, effects etc. And if you wondering if it has the 80's film in mind - YES it does... lets just say the old cast is back! Good fun film.
