  • A Ridley Scott Masterpiece, Go Purchase The Director's Cut!

Kingdom of Heaven is an amazing film. But the reason it's so great is because of the Director's Cut, which is a must own for anyone. A well written script, is about a blacksmith whose wife has committed suicide and he seeks out to redeem her in the city of Jerusalem, but ends up defending the people in the great battle against the Muslims. Ridley Scott is brilliant. You can definitely see a resemblance of Gladiator in Kingdom of Heaven, which is a great thing because who doesn't like Gladiator. His ability to create worlds is unlike any other director in history. The Director's Cut allows you to see more of what Ridley Scott's methods are like. Director's Cut: It has everything you want to see. It puts approximately 45 minutes back into the film and what a great 45 minutes it is. It goes much more in depth especially with Eva Green's Character Sibylla. It includes all the essentials that you would want a the Director's Cut. Overall this is a great film and has become one of my very favourites since the past year or so. There is something about it that even makes it rival the quality of Gladiator. It was very underrated by critics and was very well deserving of some Oscars. Must watch!

The acting is a little rigid, as one would expect from a war-epic, aside from that this is a beautiful, explosive and poignant film that is well worth the watch and the money.

A great film FYI iTunes you have listed Edward Norton as one of the cast in this film, which is incorrect.

Iv watched this film countless times and still not bored of it. If you like gladiator and found yourself watching it more than once then you will do the same with this one. Many comments suggesting the directors cut. I am already on the case to watch this as so many comments suggest to. All in all this film available on iTunes is good enough to crack the popcorn out.

This edition of the film is fatally flawed as it is missing key scenes without which the story jumps and skates over key plot points - in other words this is the theatrical release version, not Ridley Scott's far far FAR superior directors cut. And thus it gets only 3 stars, because although that's unfair to the basic premis and the original visioning of the film, it's emasculated and not as good as it should be. Having said that, the cinematography is beautiful, the attention to detail pays off, the acting is top notch (yes, even Orlando Bloom), and it's a solid adventure (even if the history has been somewhat warped to produce an acceptable 21st century storyline). iTunes - I want to buy this film, I really do, but I'm not going to give you my hard earned cash until I can get Scott's true vision of the story. So please hurry up and release the 'full' version.
  • I would only see this film to see salahudin

I would only see this film to see Salahudin nothing more. Even know they focused more on the crusaders and the inaccurate scenes were u see Muslims slaughtering cristians which never happened. I wish if anyone could make a film only about Salahudin one day it would bring them lots of money.
