The Voyage Home is an amazing film. Very humorous, great story and altogether brilliant. Highly recommended. I have no words left. Live long and prosper.

Not bad. Didn't like that it was in the 20th century for some reason. The probe was really great though. Don't watch this movie if you easily get bored.

This was one of the first films I saw at a theatre. This is a strong film delivering a message in a similar way to the 1950's movie the day the earth stood still but has a emphasis on comedy and making us realise we have to look after our resources and other beings/animals (whales). The movie turns away from comedy when dealing with the possibility of losing a keystone species such as the whales. Linking to a possibility of human extinction in the future. This is a successful film for the right reasons.
  • Great film, shame about the HD

This has to be the worst 'HD" transfer I have ever seen. Its barely better than VHS. Still a great film though.

This was the only Star Trek movie friends and family who are not Star Trek fans have enjoyed most! It brings space and reality together and how we all love to see the future or go back to the past. Even today that movie triggers that excitement of the good past and future fantasy fusion. So I recommend this movie as good family movie too!

The lowest point of Trek. Dated, poor FX work and a plot that makes NO sense and is painfuly contrived to force the characters into a horrible 80's "fish out of water" scenario. Truly awful on every level. Even some of the Next Gen films are better than this wreck. Better still go and watch the excellent 2009 reboot film but avoid this horror.

Generally regarded as Star Trek's "crossover" film, this breezily enjoyable adventure sees Star Trek lampooning itself a little after the serious drama of the previous three films, exhibiting some traditional fish-out-of-water comedy as the crew find themselves in the primitive 80s. Nimoy depicts a more innocent and playful reborn Spock, and Catherine Hicks is bubbly and appealing in her guest starring role. Oh, and it helps if you love whales!
