Description

Hollywood superstar Bruce Willis (Armageddon, Unbreakable) brings a powerful presence to an edge-of-your-seat supernatural thriller that critics have called one of the best films in recent times. Dr. Malcolm Crowe (Willis) is a distinguished child psychologist haunted by the painful memory of a disturbed young patient he was unable to help. So when he meets Cole Sear (Haley Joel Osment – Artificial Intelligence)... a frightened, confused eight-year-old with a similar condition... Dr. Crowe seeks to redeem himself by doing everything he can. Nonetheless, Malcolm is unprepared to learn the truth of what haunts Cole: terrifying, unwanted visits from the restless inhabitants of the spirit world. With a riveting intensity you’ll find thoroughly chilling and utterly unforgettable, the discovery of Cole’s incredible 6th sense leads them both to mysterious and unforeseeable consequences.

  • A creepy, chilling film, with a 'SHOCKING' plot twist.

First off, 'SPOILERS'. Second off, great acting from Haley Joel Osment and Bruce Willis. I remember when I watched the top shocking plot twists on YouTube, but avoided seeing the twists themself. The Sixth Sense was on there and I was curious on what the twist was, so I brought the DVD and watched it. The film had this very strange, dull pacing that made me yawn every second. Towards the end when the lady drops the ring on the floor, I thought the twist was that 'She' was dead all along and that the guy some how had the same ability as the kid. That was shocking enough, but seconds later, when the guy flashbacks on the kid seeing ghosts, I was 'Shocked' to realise that it was actually the guy who was dead. This twists confirmed why this film had a strange pacing and vibe. It made me see the film in a completely different light. Watching it a second time has been an absolute treat, as the pacing makes sense and is actually enjoyable.

Like all M Night films it's offers a great story but disappointing realization. If you can't spot the twist coming from the first half of the movie you should probably just stick to Bambi. The acting is good as you would expect from Willis and the boy is great too but this is nit enough to turn this dull film around. Not scary and not one of a kind and massively over rated.
