Description

Being the adventures of a young man...who loved a bit of the old ultra-violence...went to jail, was brainwashed...and came out cured...or was he? In a futuristic welfare state, Alex (Malcolm McDowell), a vicious young hoodlum, sleeps all day and spends his nights roaming the city with his droogs (friends), assaulting innocent people in the streets and in their homes. Finally captured by the police, Alex undergoes rehabilitation in the form of aversion therapy as brutal and horrifying as any of his offenses.

this is an edited comment as of JULY 2022 IVE NOTICED THAT AFTER BEING GIVEN THE UPGRADE THEYVE QUITELY DOWNGRADED ME AGAIN 🤬🤬🤬🤬 outrageous. what’s going on i bought the 7 movie kubrick collection yet i haven’t received the upgrade. the version i have is now unlisted except when i go directly to it. is this to hide the fact that u have 2 versions when there should be a 4k for all of us that purchased the original hd
  • Great film, Bad Warner Re-List - UPDATE

Warner Bros have done it again, needlessly re-listing a title. My old version has now (finally) upgraded to 4K… but I notice (just like Wonka) they’ve removed the iTunes Extras from it! So not only can I no longer search for the film, I’ve lost the extras. Shady af. Are they really trying to lose customers here??!
  • I Guess This Is Warner's Plan Now

I too have the 7 film Kubrick set, which I bought back before Full Metal Jacket was in 4K on iTunes, and it got upgraded with no issue, but evidently in the time since Warner have decided to stop being decent to their paying customers. They've done it with The Goonies and V for Vendetta also. To put all the films on sale feels like a strange attempt to make people like myself double dip and not complain about having to do so, but that's not how customers should be treated. It's literally a file on a server. There's no production, packaging, shipping, etc. associated with a new 4K blu-ray, so to do this with a streaming file is purely anti-consumer. I really feel like Warner Bros' is just giving us all the finger at this point. What's even the benefit? To make us all not buy them until they're in 4K to be safe? Just cause there will be annoyed customers who will double dip, so screw the rest of us? Anyway, scummy companies will always scrape any penny they can, I guess. Thanks AT&T. Way to maximise your profits from your monopolistic purchases!

Relished rather than give the free 4k upgrade. Standard behaviour from Warners, don’t give them your money.
  • HD and 4K versions up for sale??

Thought this was against iTunes rules. Warner have listed both and HD version and a 4K version of this film. 4k version is more expensive.

  • Where’s the upgrade for existing owners?

Sadly, this is yet another film on iTunes where the studio has relisted it to avoid upgrading existing copies to 4k HDR. The end result is that on search results on the TV app or on iTunes this film appears as unowned, and can easily result in someone accidentally purchasing it again. A greedy practice that Apple should clamp down on.
  • Another re-listing so the original purchasers do not get a 4k upgrade

Happening all too often, and this is yet another example. I purchased this movie less than 6 months ago. When i saw this new listing in the chart today i went back to check my purchase and no upgrade. It is now quite rare to receive the 4k upgrade that apple promised. It certainly makes you think twice before buying with sharp practice like this. Disappointing indeed.
