Description

From the director of The Virgin Suicides, Sofia Coppola, and shot entirely on location in Japan, Lost In Translation is a laugh-out-loud portrayal of loneliness and human connection. Featuring superior performances from Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson as Bob and Charlotte, two Americans in Tokyo. Bob is a movie star in town to shoot a whiskey commercial, while Charlotte is a young wife tagging along with her workaholic photographer husband. Through their respective insomnias, the two cross paths one night in the luxury hotel bar and strike up a surprisingly intimate friendship. As the unlikely pair venture through Tokyo together, having often hilarious encounters with its citizens, they ultimately discover a new belief in life's possibilities.

Why delist and relist films? iTunes Store is conspiring to screw us over.

I gave this 5 stars as it truly is a fantastic film, but I’ve already left a review for this film on the other version that I purchased in 2019. So if any one from apple reads these reviews please be aware that when I look for my purchased version of this film (and for the films Aviator & 10 years) it’s still in my library which is great but if I search for it through the TV app, via Siri or on iTunes it comes up with this unpurchased version asking me to pay again & doesn’t fund the paid version that I have in my library, on the same device. This happens on my Apple TV as well. It just doesn’t make the system flow very well & can cause repurchases of films that you already own. I can’t see any difference between this version & the version that I’ve already purchased either?!...
