Description

With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to liberate the citizens of Panem, and stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.

  • A fitting finale after a slow part 1

While part 2 also has some padding and occasionally slow pacing, the ending of the Hunger Games saga is exceptional. Lawrence delivers one of her best performances to date, and arguably the best in this series of films

Anything you can think of to happen in the last movie happens !! It’s filled with action packed scenes and Jennifer Lawrence is just sensational ! One of my favourites and I highly recommend to anyone

Heads up, some idiots have put some MAJOR plot spoilers in their reviews, don't let their reviews ruin the movie for you like they did for me!
  • Confusing twist

The film wasn't bad at the beginning and through the middle but when the twist came into it at the end I couldn't understand any of it. I didn't know what was happening or why it happened, and I was very disappointed with the ending of this film as I quite enjoyed it.

So disappointed with this film. It was such a letdown following the earlier instalments. The story line was thin and the film was laboured and boring. What a shame!

  • Dull and miserable!

Couldn't wait for it to end. Another example of the recent and pointless trend of splitting a book into two movies making more revenue but leaving you with two dull movies. I couldn't have cared less about the final outcome or any of the characters.
  • Not the best of the series

It’s a bit slow and it didn’t really draw me in. Constant dull emotional bits made it difficult to really care. It’s not unwatchable but in comparison to the prior films it’s not the best either.
