Mr. Robot, Season 1

So worth a watch!!

Deserves its placeat the top echelons of modern TV. Just like true detective season 1, it will compel you from the first episode. Brilliant all round. Too many superlatives.........

One of the best series to come out in the past few years!!!

Each episode is like a film, Acting is brilliant. Plot clever with some great twists. Great characters. Brilliant writing and direction. Lovely art direction. This will win loads of awards. A must see.

Best tv series I have seen in a long time.

Boring...

To make a plot like this work, the actors have to be compelling. For the most part, they nailed it. Malik was truly excellent as the lead. Well done everyone.

Mr Robot gets five stars for the following reasons: - it’s original. - script is sparky and dynamic - the exploration of mental illness is actually more interesting than the hacker/tech angle to the story. - the camera work is highly accomplished - the sound track is great and music and sound is used very well throughout - overall it’s an original and stimulating series with interesting characters about a view on life many people share but which is very rarely examined in popular media/films/TV. But, there are also some other points worth considering - - a significant part of the plot feels lifted from Fight Club, but replacing violence with hacking, and the split personality issue is especially similar. - the end goal of the hacking, to overthrow society by cancelling debts is naive and frankly economically unworkable. If you destroy all debts then no one would lend money. If no one lends then business would grind to a halt. Whole countries would collapse into long term recession and huge hardship would be caused. This is entirely glossed over and is probably my biggest gripe as it makes a well made series feel a bit childish and have an 'angry student’ feel. But, perhaps it is just channeling the anger in America at a society where so many people carry such huge debts. Overall 5 stars and totally recommend you watch it. Whether you like it, or feel disturbed, or angered by it, it will not be yet more cheese and bland storylines. This will wake you up.

BEST SERIES IVE SEEN IN A VERY LONG TIME!!! YOU DON'T NEED TO BE A TECH PERSON TO ENJOY. THE FIRST 5 MINUTES DETERMINED THAT I WOULD WATCH THIS TO THE END AND IM WAITING ON SEASON 2 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
