Description

Episodes 1 and 2 of 24 Season 8 will be available the day after the UK broadcast on 25th January 2010. Set in New York City, “Day Eight” unfolds amidst the shadows of the Statue of Liberty and the United Nations. Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) is unwillingly drawn back into the intense action after learning of a plot to assassinate determined Middle Eastern peace-keeping leader Omar Hassan (Anil Kapoor) as he negotiates international security with President Taylor (Cherry Jones) and new chief of staff Rob Weiss (Chris Diamantopoulos). Meanwhile, Renee Walker (Annie Wersching) and Chloe O’Brian (Mary Lynn Rajskub) return alongside CTU newcomers Dana Walsh (Katee Sackhoff), Arlo Glass (John Boyd), Brian Hastings (Mykelti Williamson), and Cole Ortiz (Freddie Prinze Jr.). Season 8 of 24 promises to combine the show’s unique and trend-setting format with compelling new elements, including a new setting, new threats, and new cast members. Each episode will again cover one hour of real time as viewers follow Jack Bauer through another astonishing day.

    Love 24 have seen every series more than once own a lot of them to this one of the best series yet it's defiantly up there with likes of season 5 which was a lot of peoples favourites,,, really annoys me when people post negative comments because they don't like something about apple and there comment is not even related in the slightest to 24. But 24 is always 5***** to me.

    24 is the best show on tv but this collection is extremely lacking without the last 3 episodes included - the series finished showing on sky about a week ago so why are the last 3 episodes still absent? this is a far bigger deal than the lack of HD that people seem to be moaning about. please sort it out and get the final episodes up here so we can see the end of this phenomenal series (in standard definition would be fine thanks :)

    Dear iTunes, Please pay no attention to the fundamentally ungrateful comments below. No HD no deal? Grow up. You don't want to watch the show, don't watch it. The rest of us will enjoy it in your absence. Average rating by 168 people is 4.5 out of 5. You want to deprive yourself of fabulous entertainment out of principle, be my guest. Your real problem is you don't understand international pricing strategies deployed by the international sales agencies and IPTV distribution entities. You really think Apple is intentionally conspiring against the British? It's just ludicrous. How many of you rely on the spectacular superiority of Apple products over the alternatives? 24 is more expensive in the UK for several very good and well defined reasons, understood by those of us in the business, and misunderstood by some of you who are not. 24 is a spectacular show, I have watched every series twice (yeah I know) and decided to try out watching via iTunes. It's been a great experience. Thank you again. Most of us couldn't care less about HD in any case, as a studio film producer for me it's just a gimmick. I would suggest however providing the capacity to engage subtitles in a number of languages, particularly French, Spanish, German, Portuguese etc. Many people in the UK including my wife rely on subtitles to fully enjoy the show.     Can't believe how many people are complaining about the SD or HD thing. Does it really matter?? The series is amazing and thank you iTunes for providing it as I live in another country and can't watch it on regular TV. ITs about time you got some praise I think. EXCELLENT
