Description

Since Seinfeld signed off a decade ago, Larry David has resisted every attempt to do a reunion show... until now! What gives? Find out as Larry drags everyone around him — including the cast of Seinfeld — into his usual cauldron of self-made crises in Season Seven of this hit comedy series that follows the writer/producer/comedian as he lands himself in various predicaments with both fictional and real-life personalities. In Season Seven, Larry contemplates his future with an ailing Loretta, decides on a novel approach to winning back his estranged wife Cheryl, and reunites with the stars of Seinfeld — the legendary comedy series he co-created with Jerry Seinfeld.

What can you can about one of the greatest comedy shows ever....... Simply amazing. Been an avid fan since it started and it has never let me down. To all new viewers I urge you to watch the other 6 seasons first and if you have time some Seinfeld. It all fits so nicely together. Larry David Is someone we should all aspire to be,

Still head and shoulders above half the rubbish that gets on TV, but by now makes long term fans such as myself smile rather than bust a gut laughing. We have seen it all before, executed more effectively in earlier outings. Every time I put money down on an episode I am left feeling it is not quite what it could be anymore. Every time a new series of Curb appears, fanboy friends sing its praises and claiming an incredible return to the form of the early episodes. Unfortunately the glory days of this show are over and it's time for LD to find a new format. Curb is now far enough on for us to to get an objective view of the most successful seasons. I would say that 1 and 2 are by far the most successful, full of laughs from the gut. From 3 onwards, only in occasional episodes does the brilliance of old still floor us. If you are new to Curb, you should pick the first 2 season up and pass on this. This season, while entirely decent, is falling into very clear patterns. We now know the tricks, can see the pay off coming a mile away, know that everything in the show is there for a reason - its just a matter of working out how the elements of the puzzle will fit together comedically. It's slick, it works, it is machine tooled, and slightly cynical in its predictability. If you are new to Curb you will find a lot to love, but I am now too familiar with the way the show works for it to elicit belly laughs anymore.

Larry, Larry, Larry!! How is one so befuddled,Ill-tempered, quarrelsome, disagreeable and cantankerous. These are all words, too mild to describe "Larry David". (Thats the character Larry). Every Season delivers, slowly building to the final episode. Then leaves you empty, missing the laughter and his trade mark Davidisims. If you are offended by any of "Larry's Adventures" Good! that is what Larry is for. Making those people uncomfortable is what it is all about. But thankfully also hilariously hilarious. Long live Larry David

There are more laugh out loud moments in episode 10 alone than in most other shows entire run! Larry is still at the top of his game and the Seinfeld cast are just as good as ever! Top show!
  • Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good!

Absolutely NO dip in quality. This season so far (just finished episode 5, waiting for 6) is up there with the best of Curb. LD is every bit as socially awkward and insulting as in previous seasons without making it seem repetitive. Of course every episode has the same structure but it seems just as fresh and hilarious as it always has been.
