Description

Walking with Dinosaurs is the world's first natural history of dinosaurs. Using leading-edge computer technology and animatronics, this epic series shows dinosaurs as never before — it lets us travel back in time to watch living, breathing dinosaurs in their natural habitat. Imagine you could witness a prehistoric sunset — imagine you're watching insectivorous pterosaurs chase moths in the moist evening air and bull Triceratops lock horns over a young female. This is no longer a dream. Tracing the 160-million-year history of dinosaurs, from their first appearance to their abrupt demise, Walking with Dinosaurs makes that distant world seem just as if it existed today.

This is probably one of the best T.V science non-fiction shows out there. It may be be something like 13 years old but I still think the graphics are from now because graphics back then were usually pretty bad and I watch this over and over again. I would still pay the money to get this any day even if it was €20.00 or higher. Buy now!

One of the most exciting things about Walking with Dinosaurs is the music by Ben Bartlett who was nominated for an Emmy for his work on this tv program. The main tune is just wonderful..

My 3 year old son loves the "real" dinosaurs in this series and watches this again and again. Though it should have a PG rating as there is some hunting and killing and devouring, we have to fast forward through some of the sad bits. Also the animation is slightly dated and you might smile at some of the obvious glove puppets ;)

watching this show again brings back wonderful memories. Even though it's 10 years old it still looks crisp and fresh, and the animation is top notch. A really good effort of drama-documentation which mixes fact with obvious fiction. Brilliant! I still get sad when the flying dinosaur dies :( ha

Finally, this great series is avaivable on iTunes. I cannot recommend it enough. Very entertaining and interesting. I won't moan about the price, since no matter how expensive they are, these episodes are a must have for everyone.
