Description

With great power comes great responsibility… but not yet! Riding high off the success of the hit feature film franchise, THE SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN animated series picks up the world-renowned web-slingers’ mythology at the beginning of this hero’s journey as Peter Parker, a not-so-typical 16-year-old with new-found powers, engages in the multi-leveled pressures of teenage life while combating bigger, badder super-villains in the real-world. Familiar faces return in this teenage re-envisioning of an ordinary young man turned superhero as Peter interacts with best friend Harry Osborn and love interests Mary Jane Watson and Gwen Stacy while facing off against dastardly foes including The Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Venom and more. The world has a new hero and he’s ready to save the day, but only if he can get his homework finished in time!

Best spiderman tv show of all time so sad that it only has two seasons as the show is so gripping and captures everything that's great about the spiderman comics and movies

I hadn't even heard of this series until I chanced upon it and decided it was worth a go. £3.99 is an absolute bargain for each series! The animation is excellent - the thrill as Spidey swings through the city is captured better than in any of the film outings - although I must say that the wide-eyed characters are a little too anime-like for me. The story lines are great too - there's obviously a lot of thought gone into the series. Buy it now while it's cheap!

Brought this for my 5yr old, and he absolutely loves it! The animation does take an episode or two to get used to but I have to say this is as good if not better than the spider-man cartoons of the 90's. The voices' for all the characters are all done very well and the story's are great and all connect well. For this price £3.99 this is a fantastic bargain not to be missed by any spidey fan!

As a self-confessed comic book geek, I actually got these for my son. He loves them of course but for any long suffering dads out there I highly recommend this series, especially at this price. It's fun, fresh and intelligent. Somehow it even finds time for character development in it's lean 20-minute an episode episodes. I've even found myself watching them after junior's gone to bed. Can't say fairer than that.

This Is A Great TV Series And Is Well Worth Buying Especially If Your A Marvel Comics Fan Or Just Like Spider-Man But The Only Problem Is That EPISODE TWO Is MISSING? Making It Not A Full Series, So I Summary WHERE IS EPISODE 2?

I only have one episode from this series but it was exellent! You HAVE to get it, it is so brilliant! Only problem is, iTunes haven't got one of the episodes and that means you can't buy the whole series and that means you have to pay close to £12 for something that would otherwise be £4. BAD ITUNES! BAD! But on a good note, you got it on here anyway so well done. A MUST HAVE!

From what I have seen of this series, I love it. The only thing stopping me buying it is the lack of episode 2, meaning that I can't purchase the whole series at once...sort it out iTunes!

Not your daddy's Spider-Man, but if daddy has any sense he'll wish it was. The only thing sleeker than the animation and revamped character designs is the intricate plot and the instanly recognisable but refreshed characters. Courtesy of Greg Weisman (Gargoyles) and Matt Wayne and Kevin Hopps (JLU) this is something no Spidey fan should pass up, fun for young and old while still remaining fundamental to all things Spider-Man.

This is the best show since batman the animated series and kim possible.It has a mixture of the spiderman comic book world and the spiderman movies.I can't believe they put season 1 and 2 on sale in the united kingdom iTunes store and not in the USA iTunes store.So far im having no luck with trying to buy the episodes and then put them on my ipod.We Need The Spectacular Spiderman Seasons 1 and 2 in the USA iTunes store.
