Stargate Atlantis, Season 5

I love this series only just got into it and realised they cancelled it in 2008 what a major shame it brilliant.

Watched series 5 when i was in the states downloading episodes now the best yet , watched everything stargate from SG1 till today still the best sci fi series yet

Now I have been a Stargate fan for some time now and I (like most other people) was saddened to hear that they are stopping making Stargate programs. Full stop. This came as quite a shock to me and I became ever more exicted as the final episdoe approched as I knew the program was going to go out with a bang. It did not disappoint. The supense is unbearable and the fight scenes superb. A fitting end to a well loved program, axed before it's time.

SGA season five is easily the best. I've loved every episode. Sad to see the series end.

Loved Enemy at the gate episode and all the ones before, hope Stargate Universe is as good. Finally Atlantis is back home (Earth)

No other website can compete with iTunes cos u dont have to wait weeks for the season to come out on DVD and you can choose which episodes you watch. I hated The Seed but doesnt mean i have to pay for it and never watch it. Thank you iTunes

Stargate is an amazing franchise. The story is original, the sets huge, the acting first class and there isn't a TV show that has recieved the same critical acclaim for its costume/set/animation works. Stargate atlantis season 5 is without a doubt the best season of stargate. But before I continue why don't I fill in the rest of you non-belivers who believe stargate isn't worth the test. Stargate Atlantis is set in the city of Atlantis, on a planet called "Lantea" in the Pegasus galaxy, built millions of years ago by one of the most advanced race of the Stargate universe: the Ancients. Five to ten million years ago, due to a plague in the Milky Way Galaxy, they were forced to flee to a planet in the Pegasus Galaxy and there they seeded life on hundreds of worlds as they had done in the Milky Way. After encountering a powerful enemy known as the Wraith and going to war with them for more than one hundred years, the Ancients ultimately lost and were forced to submerge their city beneath Lantea's ocean, which, in the Stargate universe, is the source of the Greek myth of the Lost City of Atlantis. The city of Atlantis hosts much of the action in the series and is the source of much of the technology which the characters employ. While trying to uncover the secrets the city still holds from her new human inhabitants, the Atlantis expedition also use the Stargate to explore the Pegasus galaxy, looking for energy sources and other technology that the Ancients may have left behind and that may help them defeat the Wraith. Now the main reason I Wrote this review is because the season finale, Enemies at the Gate, had a $630,000 budget on the animations, $200,000 on costume, in short the finale is a small film and will convince even the most pesamistic viewer that this show is addictive (btw watching the last episode to start with might be a bit silliy if you have not watched the show from season 1, rising the 2 part season 1 start episode is 1hour and 43minutes long and is £1.79 SO BUY IT). Finally I ask, no I beg every reader of this to buy the final episode when it is released to give it the right send off to the finale of Stargate Atlantis, Make it number 1# on the itunes tv show charts, spread the message, make people get into stargate, let us send a clear message to MGM that we love this show, this franchie and that we will put money into buying and time into viewing it because we believe they will continue to create the worlds best SciFi genre TV Show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
