Description

In this darkly comedic series, the entertainment industry in general, and movie executives in particular, are savagely skewered. Jay Mohr stars as Peter Dragon, movie producer extraordinaire, who is only as good as his last picture, leading to his crass, crude, and overwhelmingly neurotic behavior. Superstar producer Peter Dragon builds his stellar career on the three pillars of show business — prostitution, nepotism, and dishonesty. Add to that an ego as big as a Beverly Hills mansion, the aptly named Dragon and his cohorts manage to be politically incorrect, backstabbing, phony, petty, pissy, and most of all — funny!

I can't believe i'ts nearly 10 years since I watched this show..... Probably, one of the most cutting to the bones T.V series ever made!!! No wonder it only aired for 1 series before the Studio cancelled the show... I highly recommed this to everyone. The best £10, you'll ever spend.

a relentlessly dystopian view of life behind the scenes in Hollywood, on par with Michael Tolkin's "The Player" but fouler mouthed and maybe better for it. Acerbic, witty, nasty and of course very, very funny. Action was accused of being "too inside" but that misses that point entirely. Enjoy the cynical edge, revel in the audacity of each new "twist" and remember that at some point most of this actually happened to the producers, cast and crew and is probably happening in an office on a soundstage or on a backlot in California right now. Enjoy.
