    I Love Stargate but this is the VHS transfer upscaled to SD, the DVDs have far better quality.

    SG1 - best tv for a long time and not been bettered. Quality is good and even though SD gets much better throughout the seasons (same as when it was aired originally).

    Problem is I think the later 3 or 4 seasons can be hd as stargaze Atlantis is so if this was available then a price of 30-40£ for 10 seasons would be doable I already have digitised my dvd collection and put them on my nas all named up! Not paying £20 for ten year old series my dvd digitising good enough greedy guys! 10/9/8 in HD cost me more than 60£! Nope dvd set 10 seasons cost 40£ and I get extras?!?!?

    One of the best science fiction shows made although felt last two seasons story arc dragged out a bit and should have kept with Gould story arc as Ori story was awful. The loss of RDA to series didn’t help

    To all the reviewers who complain that this entire box set is not in HD. That's not iTunes (Apple) fault. If you actually do a google check, there are no Blu Rays of SG1. Blu Ray (HD) will never be an option. This is because of the way SG1 was shot when it first started, even with better technology coming out, the film production continued to use a certain type of camera. Which made it difficult to convert to HD. Yes Atlantis and Universe are a HD option but only because of the different camera technology they used. You guys are missing out on a really good bargain. 200+ episodes of one of the greatest sci-fi's ever?! Yes please

    If anyone's actually got this, could they please comment on the quality of the rip? I've bought SD before and generally find DVDs (as opposed to BluRay) to be better quality on a decent size tv. So would be interested to know if this is a good conversion, thanks.
