Godzilla

I see they’ve added another listing for an older title. Funny 4K is coming out. Means all the people who’ve bought the first listing will be messed about again. Why Apple allow this as it goes against their promise when they released the Apple TV 4K shows they don’t care what companies do on their shop front. Also where’s the Atmos? All the other Monsterverse ones are in Atmos. Just irritating.

I like the film but why has the version I purchased not got subtitles but this one has???

Return the English CC Subtitles and English AD Audio Description! If your HD film was recently upgraded to 4K, then check if you still have English CC subtitles and AD. Warner Bros upgraded my HD film of Godzilla (2014) to 4K Dolby Vision, but HAVE REMOVED the CC Subtitles and AD that I had, when I purchased the HD (2014) film of Godzilla. Warner Bros hope most people will not notice, or have forgotten, and will buy (again) this recent re-listed film that has AD and English CC subtitles. The HD version I am on about, is the film that had approximately 398 reviews and was recently upgraded to 4K DV.

Sadly, this is yet another film on iTunes where the studio has relisted it without reason. It hasn’t been upgraded to 4k or HDR. The end result is that on search results on the TV app or on iTunes this film appears as unowned, and can easily result in someone accidentally purchasing it again. A greedy practice that Apple should clamp down on.

Warner Bros. keep removing movies and re-listing them. Be aware if you purchase this, it might disappear in a few months time. Original purchases DID eventually get upgraded to 4K in the library, but this may disappear one day as it’s not the same version as on the store 🤦‍♂️ Learn how to manage your digital content, just update the version on the store like everyone else, don’t remove it and re-list it.

I ONLY buy films that have English CC (or SDH) subtitles, I need them because I have hearing problems. I ONLY bought Godzilla (2014) in HD because it had English CC subtitles and audio description. This film is NOW USELESS to me because YOU HAVE TAKEN the English CC subtitles and audio description. I want back the English CC subtitles and audio description that I paid for! PLEASE RETURN the English CC subtitles and audio description, OR, give me back the HD version of Godzilla (2014) that has the English CC subtitles and audio description. The 4K upgrade is useless to me without English CC subtitles. There are many films I cannot buy because they have no English subtitles at all. It is shocking and disgusting that you can remove English CC subtitles and audio description from films that I have paid for, without me knowing and without asking me. I have read reviews that have said English subtitles, audio description or iTunes Extras can be removed from purchased films, without your knowledge or consent, and never believed them... WELL I COMPLETELY BELIEVE IT NOW!

Liked it but disappointed Godzilla had so little screen time but still enjoyable

Why Warner Bros have you taken my CC subtitles and audio description? Keep your 4K upgrade and give me back my English CC subtitles and audio description that I got with the HD Godzilla 2014 that I bought. Replace my CC subtitles and audio description or replace my HD Version that had English CC subtitles and audio description!
