Description

Revered filmmaker Martin Scorsese directs the true story of New York stockbroker Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio). From the American dream to corporate greed, Belfort goes from penny stocks and righteousness to IPOs and a life of corruption in the late 80s. Excess success and affluence in his early twenties as founder of the brokerage firm Stratton Oakmont warranted Belfort the title – “The Wolf of Wall Street.” Money. Power. Women. Drugs. Temptations were for the taking and the threat of authority was irrelevant. For Jordan and his wolf pack, modesty was quickly deemed overrated and more was never enough.

It’s actually a very simple movie about a junky Wall Street guy. That’s what this is. The movie is actually pathetic and of course has nothing to do with a real financial world on Wall Street…

There is not a single wolf in this film. I wish I’d stuck with American Werewolf in London or that other film about The Wolfman. I forget what it was called. The Hangover I think it was. Anyway, this film should have been There’s no Wolves on Wall Street” presumably because they’d eat people which isn’t great for tourism.

I was so shocked by this movie, all involved in making it should be ashamed of themselves for creating this trash. Switched of very early, now my fee is wasted. I learned now that I must search through the other review sites to ensure we are not exposed to such filth again. We thought the movie was about wall street, but it was about depravity.
