Description

In this updated adaptation of H.G. Wells' classic novel, a scientist in 1880s Victorian England builds a vehicle to transport him through time. He first travels to 1917 and the horror of World War I. Next, he sets his destination for 1940 and the start of World War II. From there he travels to a future London when he barely escapes nuclear holocaust. Finally, he sets his destination for the year 802,701 C.E., when he meets an innocent race of people living in an idyllic land ... but this future may be the most dangerous of all his journeys in The Time Machine.

What are iTunes smoking ? I mean 14 quid for a film that is 14 years old ?? Need to wake up and smell the coffee iTunes . There is the original movie made in 1960 which is a classic and of course this remake which is just as good as the storyline is different but as l say the price is ludicrous for he version

This is a great film and i have seen it so many times but never get bored of it. Only issue is that iTunes do not appear to know the film themselves as they have incorrectly described it. He does not visit the two wars, but instead tries to prevent his girlfriend from being killed. Unless there is another version of time machine i am missing, but this is still a great film and Guy Pierce does a fantastic job as the lead character.

I remember the original of this film and I enjoyed this time around as much as the last, it's a good scifi worth watching. Would watch again which isn't something I say about many films. The only down side is the idea of canibalism left me with some bad dreams!
