Pride & Prejudice

1) Unbelievably beautiful film - the cinematography, costumes, sets, landscapes, shots and editing are phenomenal 2) Marvelous acting - everyone did their roles perfectly 3) Great writing - the story was cut where needed and stream-lined into a cohesive plot for the length of the film 4) Briliant music - what a soundtrack! This is more than just an adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, it is a beautiful movie in its own right and should be treated as the work of art it is.

This is by far Kiera knightly's best performance. The film is beautiful and the cast all act wonderfully. You don't take to Darcy at first if you have seen Colin firth playing him but you soon feel and think that Mathew McFadden is actually better than firth as a dark character that wants so much to get out of his harsh exterior and with in time you actually start to sympathies with him and he's just fantastic. There is striking chemistry between them which is gripping. In between this courtship the rest of the cast make you smile and keep you warm, Tom Hollander who plays Collins is just outstanding . It's brilliant , it's warm, it's moving and it's directed masterfully .

I absolutely love this movie and have been waiting for the HD version to become available on here. An instant purchase for one of my favourite films even though I already own it on Blu-Ray. Thank you iTunes.
