its a great film for everyone (minus the swearing!!) its really funny and realistic!!!! I loved it !! Ignore the people that say its awful, they clearly don’t know what a great film is :)

I like lighthearted funny films so this was spot on! Lots of funny bits :)

Although admittedly, Seth Rogen does depart from the usual sarcastic, wild and funny actor that we so much adore, this role suits him well too. The film encompasses many themes and can therefore be regarded as an all-rounded film! Regarding the humour, I personally found this hilarious. Perhaps mostly due to the film's portrayal of a situation that many of us could relate to - namely, the crazy family. However, it is understandable that those who are less empathetic and/or those who find no relation to the characters of this story will simply not be able to understand the humour as a result. This was a film that I was raring to show to my mother and watch again! A rare thing for me.

Waste of money. The trailer drums this up as a comedy of sorts where in reality it is nothing like that. Seth Rogen is usually so funny, in this he is just dull. Save your money.

A funny film and should be a 5 star for what it is.

I brought this film expecting a funny film. As a Seth rogan fan however it was a complete disappointment this is not funny at more sad attempt at a moving mother son reconciliation although the end is a little warm and fuzzy over all a waste of money if you are looking for a funny film don't waste your money !
