Hyde Park On Hudson

Very poor imagination with inaccurate details in terms of historic background and British Royal traditions - as if the playwright made up the whole story with absolutely wrong details and very wild and distasteful imagination. By hiring some second or even third tier British actors and actress to fill up the gap of the "Britishness" is definitely a bad idea - the only thing real about British was probably the accents those British actors and actresses had. However, their accents were not the Royal accent back in the days at all. It only shows how cheap and how unauthentic the attempt to interpret the part of the film was made. Apart from the inaccuracy and distastefulness, the other aspects of the film were boring as hell too. Absolutely ghastly! Must avoid!

I was looking forward to this film after all the media hype and promo's. however, I found it did not live up to expectations - frankly I was bored.

Excellent little story, well portrayed, Bill Murray showing a greater depth of talent than I think many may have not realised he possessed. Well worth renting.

I really enjoyed this film, it's warm, funny & fantastically written and cast, a really cheerful little gem!
